2026 BONUS Essay Competition - enter now!

We are excited to announce the 2026 BONUS essay competition! Inspired by our conference theme “Translating Innovation: From Bench to Bedside” we’re encouraging you to consider the challenges faced by researchers and clinicians when bringing research into clinical practice. We’re inviting medical students and resident doctors to submit an essay on the following theme:

“Bridging the gap: Why do promising discoveries fail to reach the patient?”

📚 Word limit: 750 words

💻 Format: Size 12 arial/times new roman/calibri, double spaced

📝 Referencing style: Vancouver

📧 Submission: Please email entries to bonus.oncology@gmail.com in either pdf or .docx format, please include your stage of medical school/training.

📆 Deadline: 23:59 Friday the 22nd of May (UK time)
