BONUS App User's Guide

Welcome to our BONUS Community!
We are so excited to share this space with you that abounds with joy and passion for oncology.

The purpose for this space is not only to promote education in cancer care but also to strengthen our existing cancer network throughout the country. Although the majority of App users would be medical students and junior doctors from the UK, we aim to make this space as inclusive as possible. No matter who you are, medical or non-medical, or where you come from, UK or abroad, please remember this space is created for you.
Because this App was created within the Wix operating system, which is the same system for our website, please do not be surprised if you have received emails or notifications from Wix.
You can install BONUS Official on any device that have iOS (iPhone or iPad) and Android (smartphones or tablets) operating systems. This App is available for free with the support from the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR).
Below, you will find some tips on how to maximise your experience using this App. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us, we will do our best to support you. This space is created for you.
Log In
The fact that you can see this post, you are already in! However, to avoid possible future confusion, you can sign in to your account in 2 ways:
Via Email
After entering your email, click Go to Email. This will take you to your Email App on your device.
You will receive an email from BONUS Official (no-reply@site-members.com). In this email, you will receive a link Sign in to "BONUS Official". The link will expire after 20 minutes.
If you have not received an email, go back to our BONUS App and then click Send Again to re-generate another email with the link.
Using password
After entering your email, click Already have a password? Log in.
On Verify Your Password page, enter your password. Click Log In, then voilà !
If you forget your password, on Verify Your Password page, click Forgot your password?. You will receive an email from Wix (wix-team@emails.wix.com) which allow you to reset your password.
Reset Your Password
Unfortunately, you cannot reset your password when logged in. You can reset your password as if you forgot your password.
Log out of the App (Read more about this in Log Out section below).
On welcome page, click Join.
On Sign up page, enter your email and click Continue.
After entering your email, click Already have a password? Log In.
On Verify Your Password page, click Forgot your password?
You will receive an email from Wix (wix-team@emails.wix.com) which allow you to reset your password.
In this email, click Change Password. You can now enter new password, then click Save New Password.
Private Member / Official Member
There are 2 types of App members: Private Member and Official Member. For privacy reasons, every new member will automatically assigned as a Private Member with limited ability.
As a Private Member
You will not appear as a member on the App. No one, apart from BONUS Official, will be able to access your profile.
You will be able to access our content but not able to interact.
You will not be able to like, comment or respond to any posts or forums.
You will be able to join our groups, but your profile picture and your name will be visible to the group members.
You will be able to create a forum post, but your profile picture and your name will be visible to all App users.
In the future, when there are programmes and challenges available, you may not be able to participate.
To maximise your experience using this App, we highly recommend you become an Official Member. There are 2 ways to become an Official Member:
1. Interact with posts
By interacting with any posts, either like or comment, you will receive a message to confirm whether you allow your profile to become public. Click Approve.
2. Edit your profile
On Home page, click Profile icon on the left upper corner
On My Profile page, click Edit profile.
On Edit Profile page, scroll down to the Privacy Settings section and allow Public Profile.
Set up Your Profile
To set up your profile:
On Home page, click Profile icon on the left upper corner.
On My Profile page, click Edit profile.
On Edit Profile page, you will be able to:
Change your profile picture.
Change your profile name.
Write About Me – write a little about yourself, share your interest and passion, add pictures and even videos.
Edit some basic information – Name, Email, Phone, Birthdate, Institution and Position/Job Title.
Become an Official Member by setting your profile public.
Creating a good profile is a great way to promote yourself and your work, you will attract people and opportunities that you may never expect. We will also award our Official Members with honorary badges that reflect the person.
Chat with Someone
You will be able to chat privately with Official Members or even create a group chat.
On Home page, click Chat icon on the right upper corner. Here you will find your existing chats.
On Inbox page, click New Message (Pencil) icon on the right upper corner.
On New Message page, choose or search an Official Member that you would like to chat with.
If you would like to create a group chat, on New Message page, click New Group Chat and then choose members. You can create a chat of up to 50 Official Members.
Log Out
To log out of the App:
On Home page, click Profile icon on the left upper corner.
On My Profile page, click Setting icon on the right upper corner.
On App Setting page, click Log Out in the bottom of your screen.
