About the event
It has become increasingly obvious in recent decades that no two patients with the same cancer type are exactly the same and variably respond to the generic treatment such as radiation and chemotherapy. Precision medicine, also sometimes called personalised medicine, focuses on how changes in certain genes or proteins in an individual's cancer cells might affect their care. This allows healthcare professionals to offer and plan specific care for their patients which has evidently resulted in major improvement in fighting cancer. Therefore, this approach has been more and more integrated into cancer research and treatment in recent years.
This coming year, our BONUS International Conference will be in the theme of Precision Medicine and take place on Saturday, 4th February 2023, between 10:00 to 16:00. Experts from different cancer specialities will be talking about how Precision Medicine is integrated in their work. This is also a great way to celebrate…
